Absolutely do not take this class. There is no structure to the class and it's mostly self-taught. We would spend the first half of class splitting into two groups and discussing the readings, then watch a movie the second half of class. Professor Lee didn't really guide the class, so our discussions were only as good as the people in our class made it. Also, each week we had to write a 3-5 page response paper to the discussion and the movie. They were a real pain to write, and Professor Lee seemed to grade them very subjectively. Whenever he didn't agree with a certain opinion, he'd give you a lower grade without any explanation. This class was super disappointing and I regret taking it. It's easy enough to get an A- in the class, but truly not worth the effort.
