I love Professor Hurley so much. She is the first English professor I have had that has truly cared about making me as an individual a better writer. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS. She spent an hour with me perfecting my intro and thesis for my second paper and truly helped me improve. The reading for the class is EXTREMELY dense. at least 100-125 pages per class but you honestly don't have to read everything to do well just go to class to get all the quiz points and day your reading responses.

Biased because love 18th century novels. Hurley's discussions/lectures were good aside from the ones on The Italian and Mansfield Park. Quizzes and weekly responses were doable, but kind of too much considering the large amount of reading required.
