The professor is constantly changing the syllabus. He makes a change at least once a week, which he does announce in class, but the frequent changes lead to inconsistences between documents and confusion among students and TAs. Also the professor's word choice often times feels as if it discredits peoples' sexuality and gender identity. He is also very unwilling to accept criticism and make changes despite hearing from students and the TAs. He also has a no technology policy, this makes class extremely difficult as he moves very quickly through the lecture. He also frequently interrupts students insisting that they share their name rather than actually listening to what they are saying. The lectures are frequently just summaries of the readings rather than educating us on the topics of the readings. The TAs are absolutely fantastic and the discussion section has been my saving grace in this class.
