This class is a hit or miss. Some people love it and others drop. You get a decent sense about what the course is about in the first few weeks. Pros: readings are interesting, Professor gets to know everyone, class is engaging. Con: readings take forever and you get assigned a lot of them, class is not diverse for a WGS course, essay prompts are very long and contradictory, and tangents are a daily issue. Overall, this class was one of the most taxing courses I’ve taken (mentally and timely).
