TAKE THIS CLASS. This was my first time taking a WGS class and it was one of those classes that I never wanted to miss. Lisa is excellent, as I learned pretty quickly and the class was very diverse which made conversations with my classmates very interesting. I also love the discussion sections and Natalie (TA that ran Discussions) is AMAZING. The class only touches very surface-level information about race, gender, and power and how they all go together but overall I think it is great. This class is also hard to get into if that tells you anything about how wonderful it is. Take it with Lisa! She is the best, just take any class with her honestly. We had papers every 3ish weeks that were not bad between 3-6 pages max and everything is graded on COMPLETION!!!!
