Beling and Patek do a great job teaching this class. Pay attention in lecture and the homework will be manageable. Great for those who love math-oriented problem solving.

Pretty straightforward. If you do well on the hws you are fine.
Although the hw's aren't too bad, the tests can seriously kill you, and there's no way you can really study for them.
The homeworks were long and difficult to figure out on your own. The TAs were not as knowledgeable as you would think. They would often not be able to answer questions fully. Tests are very similar to the homework. Do all the homework and you should be fine.
This is a difficult course, but definitely worthwhile. You really learn how to think in this class. Going to lectures and actually paying attention (not just reading the slides) is very helpful. Do not do the homework the night before they are due, because they do take some time. Beling and Patek are very good professors who know what they're talking about and complement each other very well. Difficult but rewarding class.
This is a pretty difficult class, but definitely worthwhile. The homeworks can take awhile, but you're allowed to work in groups. The midterms are pretty tough; they're open book, open note, so you really have to understand the concepts and how to apply them. Same goes for the final.
Very interesting class, can be dry sometimes, but could potentially be very useful down the road. The professors are knowledgeable and their humor is sarcastic and funny. Test are relatively straight forward so long as you can draw the diagrams.

LOVED Kanshu. I basically learned the class through him. That being said, this is a hard but rewarding class. Very different from other sys courses in that it's more conceptual and it actually makes you think. Worthwhile though.
Really time consuming, hard class but a must for systems majors. The TA, Kanshu, got me through this class so definitely go to the TA for homework help. Midterm and final are impossible even though theyre open book, notes, lecture slides.
