The main reason why I liked taking STS 4600 with Prof. Laugelli is that classes only met once a week. The timeslot for the class was 5:00-7:30 but we were usually done by 6:30. Every week you have the same routine, do the readings, take the open note 3 question multiple choice quiz, and post a short discussion post. In addition to that, you work on your STS research paper throughout the semester (first draft is due right before spring break). The class is otherwise nothing to write home about. It isn't super exciting or super boring. The topics are kinda interesting but at the end of the day, it's an STS class. You kinda just want to get it done and Prof. Laugelli gets that, so he's to the point. I'd recommend taking the class with Prof. Laugelli! #tCFS24
