Laugelli is a great professor. He sets super clear expectations for what your prospectus needs to have in it, literally to the point of giving you sentence outlines. He does have you do some reading every week and a reading quiz in lecture every class but the quizzes are honestly easy if you did the reading (and they're only ever 3 questions long). Besides the prospectus you have 2 other homework assignments throughout the semester, one of which is a little infographic and the other is a group presentation that is not nearly as stressful as it was made out to be (it was very low stakes). He also offers extra credit opportunities through the semester. He usually teaches a one time a week, 2.5 hr class but the class rarely lasted the entire time (I think it only happened once). The rest of the time you get out of class after about a hour or so.
