MC is a great professor. Understanding, knowledgeable, and super engaging. Most weeks there is an STS framework that you must read (efficiently skim) and annotate. The whole course is essentially built around guiding you to develop your thesis question and methodology by which you intend to answer/explore it in the Spring (STS 4600). As we all know, students (myself very much included) tend to push off large writing assignments to the last day. To combat this, prof Forelle divided us into accountability groups. Every week you have to write a few hundred words about the progress you've made and then comment on a few of your accountabilibuddies' progress reports. DO NOT FORGET TO DO THIS. I made this mistake and my grade suffered. Getting an A is easy for those that can follow clear directions and complete their work in a timely manner. This course is good practice for longer timeline projects.
