A graduate teaching assistant taught the class (Ga Ming Angus), but he was super friendly and made time for students outside of class to fill in missing gaps of understanding. Tough class if you don't have a strong math background as there's tons of theory. However, if the instructor leaves a study guide, you attend office hours, and you do your best to upgrade your math theory (e.g. problem-solving, getting to what the question is asking for, general problem trends), you'll be good.

This class was pretty meh. It was easy enough and graded generously. Slides were basically ripped straight out of the textbook and Li did not give any meaningful commentary besides what was written on the slides so take that with what you will. This is not an interesting class and examples really could be better motivated to be more applied.
