STAT 1100

Lectures are absolutely useless and it's not required so don't even bother. He overcomplicates a lot of the lessons but it's much easier than you would expect. His accent is a bit difficult but manageable. The homeworks are really simple and he doesn't knock off crazy points for some errors and he's a really light grader so if you do terribly you would still get at least an 80. The labs are literally homework assignments so don't stress but try to get a 100%. Do some practices on excel because you will be using it a lot throughout the semester but a couple of YouTube video will do good. The midterm is hilariously easy so just study some terms and no real hard math and you will be fine. The final on the other hand is something else and I think it's a UVA tradition to make a final ridiculously hard.
