I highly recommend SPAN 3300 with Matthew Richey. He is an awesome professor who really makes the material clear and interesting. The class is divided into 3 sections- theatre, literature, and poetry. You pretty much have to read one piece before class and sometimes do a quick assignment on it, but it's never much homework. There's an essay on each unit and a quiz on each unit, but each one has been easy to get an A on so far. Matthew is entertaining and fun. I am happy I took this class.

Take SPAN 3300 with Matthew Richey! He was a great teacher, very accommodating with work loads, and made assessments easy to prepare for. I learned a lot about literature, and even though class could move a little slowly sometimes, it's definitely a nice class environment. Honestly not a ton of work besides weekly readings and short assignments that kind of just checked to make sure you actually read the stuff before class.
