Not the most exciting course. Mostly reading poems and analyzing narratives via writing essays. Try to get a native speaker as your professor if you want to see notable improvements in your spanish skills. Take it if you have to.

SPAN 3300 is an okay class, and you get a lot of practice reading Spanish texts. However, the class periods can be very boring. Lauren Reynolds is very sweet but not the best at engaging with the class.
