I cannot stress how much I love this instructor! There were three papers, three tests, a (brief) presentation, and consistent homework assignments, but the professor prepares you VERY sufficiently. I especially loved how many peer reviews/professor reviews there were before submitting the papers. I was hesitant to sign up for this course as the last Spanish course I had taken was a Heritage Speaker course at a different institution a YEAR ago, but I found this class to be pretty enjoyable and manageable with my other classes. Professor Bonino also cares so much about the well-being of her students, especially this past semester with COVID. There were times I had to miss class because of COVID scares that I had in my life and needing to get tested or even to get my vaccines, but she was very understanding of my absences. She also recorded lectures so that you could go back if you missed class, but attendance DOES count. Also, I feel like I should note that I am not a Spanish major or minor and took this class merely as an elective and got an A so it is not impossible to do well and enjoy the class if you aren't studying spanish for a major/minor! #tCFspring2021

She's super fun and approachable. Pretty easy grader but has high expectations for writing. Good professor, organized class. 100% recommend this to anyone who likes and/or wants to study Spanish
