SPAN 2010

Manuel is awesome! I was initially unsure about taking this class with him during my first year because I didn't see any reviews about him, but I'm so glad I did! He is a welcoming, inclusive, funny, and understanding student teacher/professor that truly looks out for his students. He tries his best to make the intensive 2010 curriculum more palatable (not under his control), as the number of assignments that you have to complete in one week (let alone after one class session) can be ridiculously wild. He definitely made it a little bit easier for me to manage an 8 am section that was twice a week (big oof, but I had to at the time), always communicated any changes to his class instruction setting (online/in-person, even though the section was in person) and made himself as available as possible between his own classes for office hours. I would highly recommend taking this class with him! One thing I want to say in general after more experience with these classes is that the sections that are three days a week help to divide the work out a little bit more, compared to twice a week.
