After my original TA went on maternity leave, Shayne took over my class. This happened during online courses, but he was still an effective TA. He is very sweet and involved. During discussion in general, TAs go over what was discussed in lecture that week and go over it more in-depth). I think discussion is worth 30% of your overall grade, so make sure you participate! Coming from an introvert, I didn't have trouble speaking up. The content was just so interesting that you find yourself with something to say. I'm sure that if I had an in-person discussion section with him, I would enjoy it a lot.
