I took Intro to Indian Culture and Literature with Professor Farooqi. Even though I am Indian, I still managed to learn a lot. Professor Farooqi is a great professor and values respect. There were three quizzes that were not too difficult, but I recommend going to Office Hours the night before to ask a bunch of questions, as she will help explain a lot. Take notes during class so you'll be more prepared for the quizzes. Overall the class really wasn't too difficult and the readings weren't too overwhelming.
