This class was great. Ochs is incredibly interested and knowledgable in the topic and wants you to learn it well. she loves her students and is incredibly enthusiastic. a fair amount of reading. she gives sample questions for the midterm and final so studying for those is not too hard. there are three "doing jewish" assignments where you go to an event and write a page about what you experienced. she invited everyone to her house to help them build their sukkah. very fun class.
