Best professor I've had. If you're taking this class, take it with her. 3-4 essays which are graded fairly and the exams are fair. The reading is intimidating but definitely doable. The class has been my favorite at UVa. Just make sure you participate!!! It's a large percentage of your grade and that is what brought some people's grades down. I looked forward to class everyday and would definitely recommend.

This was a great class. Christina McRorie was a great leader of discussion, and was very helpful and caring towards all of her students. This section focused more on theological perspectives on economics and capitalism than I think some of the other sections do, and it was interesting to trace some of the ways thinking about capitalism has transformed throughout history.
