Portmann is amazing. Such a caring individual. Plus he is wildly provocative and leads fun and stimulating discussions. Most of the grade comes from a big paper you write at the end of the course and from your participation in discussion. Take this class if you want to have awesome discussion every week with a fascinating professor. Highly Recommend.
