Professor Cynthia Hoehler-Fatton is such a great teacher. She knows her stuff and her lectures are interesting. Readings vary, sometimes its a part of a book, 2-15 page readings, 3-11 page readings, movies are optional but you should definitely watch it! It'll help you during discussions. Speaking of discussions, there is a weekly 1-3 question quiz, do the readings and attend the lectures and you'll do fine. Mid-terms was a short answer and an essay based on the material you read, so take notes on every reading!! I recommend you take this class if you have any interest in Christianity in Africa.

Great class with a great professor!

My first religion class, very interesting. Not hard to do well if some effort is put in. Definitely would recommend this class to interested students.
