Prof. Golino is a really sweet professor, she is passionate and it's clear that she knows what she is talking about. If you're interested in how degenerative cognitive diseases like dementia, depression, and alzheimers progress and mainfest this is a good class to take. It is also an easy class, weekly readings consist of studies that she assigns and discusses later in class (that you can easily skim). assessments include 2 midterm tests that were pretty easy if you study the class lectures. and 3 data anaysis assignments that can be done in groups. Overall recommend this class for any Cogsci major! This class meets once a week, but my only complaint is that this class doesn NOT need 2 hours and 30 mins, the content of the lecture can easily be a 75 min lecture. At times the lecture can be dry, and there is only a 5-minute break.
