Timo was an absolutely amazing professor! He actually made stats interesting. Taking it with him after 3005 with Smyth was a cakewalk. His exams are a copy of the practice tests, if you do them sufficiently in advance he will give you feedback on your wrong answers. He cares about his students a lot: he emailed his students if they weren't doing well,and even emailed them when they missed an exam! Even though the lowest exam score gets dropped! He also coaches soccer and has the most adorable German accent :) overall, he's a fantastic professor, super approachable and helpful. Definitely take it with him!
