Like another reviewer said, extremely overrated. Oishi tries to make the class interesting but it was difficult to pay attention to his lectures. There's often a gap between what he covers in class and what's in the book. Not as easy of an A as it seems. Also, the paper assignment grading seemed arbitrary. Take it with Wilson in the fall if you can.

Oishi is great. lots of demonstrations with the class to clarify topics. funny lectures. 2 midterms and a final plus one 2 page paper. the material is interesting enough, not too difficult especially if you have some base in psychology. it's a good class I enjoyed it
Professor Oishi is a pretty interesting and funny lecturer. It might be a little bit hard to understand him first because of his accents, but after a while you will get used to it. Good class notes are crucial to success b/c most of his exam questions are from them. The book is very enjoyable. Overall, definitely a worthwhile class to take!
Oishi is a very entertaining lecturer and the material is interesting. It's definitely a class worth taking.
I really like professor Oishi. He is a young professor and really likes to relate to the students. He tries to include participation in lecture, but it's difficult in such a large class. Exams are very straight forward. Overall, I was glad I took this class.
Oishi is hilarious! I really enjoyed this class. It wasn't terribly difficult, though I didn't get an A or anything. It's one of those classes that you take and then you notice all the different things you learned in the world around you. Very interesting
highly recommended for all students, not just psyc majors. Prof. Oishi is a very comedic lecturer, and the material is extremely interesting and applicable...i.e. ways to attract the object of your desires or looking beyond perceived stereotypes.
Professory Oishi is very funny and interesting. Not a difficult or demanding class if you go to lectures.
