The tests did not fit what was taught in lecture and in the reading. They were oddly worded and very difficult. It is not worth the effort for such a little return.

One of the best professors there is; very approachable and fair grading. Tests require quite a bit of reading, but the TA's notes helped tremendously and Nosek is a great lecturer.

I enjoyed this class and Prof. Nosek. He is a good lecturer and class is mostly enjoyable. He assigns a good amount of reading and some of the test questions are worded oddly, but he takes notice of this and curves the tests/class. I put a small to decent amount of effort into the class and got a b. Good class if you need it and the basics of pysch are interesting and useful for most things in life.

Interesting class - lectures were fun - READ READ READ the chapters and do the focus questions... it will help you tremendously because the tests are not simply definitions; most of the questions are applied critical thinking so you have to have a good grasp of every concept we read whether or not he discusses it in lecture. I think he said about 30% of test questions come from the book (which he does not cover in class). Great professor, difficult tests, fun class if you're up for it.

Professor Nosek is a great lecturer and really makes the class interesting if your really enjoy psychology. I, however, through taking this class discovered i hated psychology because his class involved A LOT of reading and coming to every lecture is a must. Tests are very tricky but go to his office hours at the beginning and he will give you great study tips.

Fun class! Exams were tricky but if you read the book and attend class, you should be fine.

what a waste of my time and 3 credits. he thinks he is cool but is not. Sure, an easy A, but I couldhave taken a more enlightening class. the tests are not easy though. overall, i dont recommend.

Very interesting class to take to get a good understanding of basic psychology concepts. Nosek is an entertaining and for the most part funny lecturer. The exams cover a lot of material.
