Prof. Nosek is one of the best and funniest lecturers I have ever had. He single-handedly won me over to Psychology. At one point he was illustrating an altruism study where some condfederate would pretend to have an accident so the experimenter could see how many people helped/who helped, etc. and he literally acted this out and ran into a table and fell on the floor. If you are going to take Psyc 101, take it with this guy.

Nosek is an amazing lecturer and really cares about his students. The class isn't quite as easy as people might think because there is a lot of material to get through. His tests were straightforward with the occasional tricky question - definitely manageable though. Do the reading, go to lecture (or read the TA's lecture notes, but Nosek is definitely worth listening to) and you'll get an A.

Interesting class, reading is important and there is a tonne of it. Tests are a little confusing but if you know the material, you will do well. Alot of information to take in for this class.

A lot of material (as expected for Intro class), but the prof. is interested in helping everyone do well. Just go to class and read the textbook. (If you save the reading to just before the exams, give yourself a week to catch up!)

Nosek is awesome. Three midterms and a final, all counting for the same percentage of the final grade. Tests require information from lectures (which are well-prepared and interesting) and from the textbook readings.

I would take Brian every semester if I could! My favorite professor so far at UVA. He is passionate about the material and dedicated to helping his students understand and succeed. He is very fair about grading, and even though you can easily skip lecture because the TA's post such thorough notes online, you wouldn't want to miss it because he keeps it entertaining and lighthearted and overall really contributes to your understanding of the material. Very highly recommend!!!!

Nosek is a very entertaining teacher. He shows awesome videos and is really funny. However, his tests are really hard and tricky so you really need to know everything.
