It's a tough class, and she's a tough professor, but it's incredibly worth it. I've taken both her small group class, and a large lecture with her, and she clearly much prefers these smaller classes where she can actually have discussions with the students than talking at them. Be prepared to participate, and as thick and massive as the reading is, she'll expect you to know it.

A lot of reading, and a lot of work overall. But you learn more in this class than basically any other class. Really has a strong base of history, so if you don't enjoy history and its relation to politics, you won't enjoy this class.
