Neu is clearly passionate about physics, and his in-class demonstrations are awesome. Unfortunately, he's not the best at explaining concepts, and I wish he had used some of the demonstration time to work examples instead. I ended up having to teach myself a lot, and I was never able to attend OH because of other class conflicts. Exams are multiple-choice and relatively straightforward. If you can complete the homework problems (some of which were unreasonably difficult), then you shouldn't have too much difficulty with the exams. Reading the textbook is time-consuming but worthwhile if you want to understand the material.
