Pretty awful class. Only take if you have to Humprey's doesn't care about his students and grading is quite arbitrary.

Humphreys can seem rude in lecture but he's really a decent guy. Material is not incredibly hard but lectures can be boring. Homeworks can get a bit tedious as well. Definitely only take this if its a requirement.

Humphreys is just plain mean and rude.

Professor comes off as pretentious. There's Homework assignments once a week, and they are pretty manageable. The tests aren't too difficult. Definitely not a usual read/memorize class.

Great class. Study the problems sets and class proofs and you'll be plenty prepared to finish proofs quickly on tests. They're often very similar to problems we've already been given.
