Professor Luna is a really nice guy, and I definitely recommend taking this class with him. He's really approachable and you can tell he cares about his students. He doesn't always come across extremely clearly in lecture, but he also doesn't have years of experience in teaching like other professors here. This class isn't a lot of work nor is it too difficult, but the homework does pick up a bit towards the end of the semester.

Would definitely recommend taking this course with Luna! The small class creates a nice setting and an engaging atmosphere. Luna is efficient with class time and takes the time to thoroughly explain what to expect on homework and quizzes. The class follows a "reader" that's less than $10. Very worthwhile course if you're pursuing a music major or if you're just interested in music theory in general. There are 4 "quizzes" throughout the semester, ~15 written assignments, and a cumulative final. Not a lot of work outside of class other than the homework assignments.
