Professor Arton does a fantastic job teaching this class. He's very open to opinions and is especially helpful with assignments during office hours. There are a lot of great takeaways from the lectures and it helped me learn a lot about how film genres have changed over time. It taught me how to be more critical and what to look out for in films as well. I strongly recommend taking this class if you haven't taken a Media Studies course before or want a class that is enjoyable with an engaging professor.
