I have a rather strong math background so I had very little trouble grasping the material for this class. Kochalski is very nice, does a good job teaching, and is VERY HELPFUL at office hours. She got through everything at a nice pace, and didn't have to cram at the end like of the other TAs. She is a bit picky about showing work, but then again, I think most math teachers are. Either way, she scales the grades for her students at the end of the course, so her being a harsh grader doesn't really hurt you as long as she is equally harsh on the whole class.

She does a really great job teaching and getting the point across during lecture! She has great office hours. There is webassign and written hw due every week but if your having trouble just go to office hours and she will explain everything very thoroughly! The only thing I would be cautious of is that she is a hard grader and very nitpicky about showing all of your work.
