Chris is most certainly the best TA I've had at UVA. Chris can be tough - he expects genuine effort. However, he is also very personable and understanding. In addition, he does an excellent job at reinforcing the material. If you listen and participate, he sets you up to do well in the course overall.

Chris is an awesome TA. Definitely try to get him if you're taking a class he's TAing. He's funny, personable, and really knows the material--and is super approachable and really helpful during office hours. He's definitely tough, and doesn't take bs answers or let you slack off, but you learn a lot through his discussion sessions.
