I really enjoyed Colonial British America and would recommend it. The class provided an in-depth look at the Colonial British empire from about 1580 to 1800. There was definitely a more geographic perspective on the topic because that is Professor Edelson's area of expertise, but I found it to be an interesting way to look at it. This class covered a lot of material but the lectures and readings were enjoyable and easy to understand. The grade was made of two essays, weekly discussion posts, a midterm, a final, and participation. It was pretty straightforward to do well in this class and Professor Edelson was very interactive and helpful throughout the class. #tCFspring21
