I wish I had taken this course with Finder, but Hollaender provided cool insight into what modern Germans thought of the Holocaust, and how they learned about it in school. We didn't have to do anything except show up for class (she passed around a sign in sheet) and do a group project at the very end of the semester, but all the work for that was done in class at the end of the semester. It was overall pretty chill, easy A for sure, but I would 100% recommend Finder (he usually teaches it but was away on sabbatical Fall '15 I think)

This was a pretty awful class. The professor was very unorganized; we spent most of the classes just splitting into groups then spending 40 minutes answering questions that only took 5 minutes to complete. I feel like I didn't learn anything in this class, which was a huge disappointment. I'd recommend you wait for a different professor (I heard that Professor Finder was fantastic). It was a very easy class, but again, I didn't learn anything so it just felt like a waste of time.
