Be warned, this class will actually meet the full two and a half hours every week. Professor Hoffman would lecture for an hour and then we would discuss the readings as a class. The readings were both from a textbook and primary sources. While the discussions could be interesting, I found the content boring. I took AP Euro in high school, and I didn't learn anything new. By the end of the course, no one could even answer the essential question of the course. There were 4 papers. There was no rubric provided which made grading seem very arbitrary, and Professor Hoffman was rarely available for help during his office hours.
