Take the lab with Martin Volaric if you can. He is very generous in grading, very approachable, and makes fun of the lab course. He is one of the best EVSC TAs I've ever had
I had Kat Coughlin as my TA. She was sometimes extremely slow about grading and responding to emails, but she was also very nice and helpful. The weekly reading quizzes were pass/fail but you had unlimited tries to get all the questions right. The labs themselves were often pretty fun and interesting and usually only lasted about 2 hours except for the two field trips. The lab reports only required making excel sheets with the data and answering questions and were pretty straight forward.
