Nabi is a pretty fun professor, I thought that the contents of the class to be super interesting. We looked at rap songs and analyzed them in a literary sense and looked at the deeper meanings behind it from the beats, tones, structure of practically everything even the instruments used. I think a big part of the class was reading in between the lines of rap and validating that it deserves the same respect as other art forms such as poetry. In the class we write a series of essays analyzing different topics. I don't think Nabi is a harsh grader but he's looking for paper with substance. He writes a lot of notes on how you can improve your writing and where he would like to see improvements and what he likes you to continue to do/elaborate on. You have the opportunity to refine everything you do for a better grade. I did feel like some of the topics and assignments to be hard specifically transcribing songs rhythmically which is kind of needed to do the last assignment. there's also a fair amount of reading that you have to print out. overall enjoyable class
