ENGR 1020 is pretty much the same through all professors so you'll probably enjoy whoever you get, but I love Prof Williams she's so chill and always puts on relaxing music when we're actually doing our work days. Also huge plus is that she lets us pickup Einstein's during class and is very sweet and is great at connecting with her students. Getting to know her feels like having a buddy in your corner for the rest of your time at UVA.

Professor Williams was a great teacher for Engineering Foundations. She always gave feedback to the groups and went out of her way to help us get any materials that were not ordered or did not come in on time for the final project. She is also very friendly and is a great resource if you have any questions.

#tCFS24 ENGR 1020 is basically a semester-long group project. You are given choices of clients and client problems to select your top 5 and then you are placed in a group with other people to come up with a solution. The class isn't bad as long as you are in a group that does work on time and makes sure to follow the rubrics. The main assignments are just finishing chapters of your report draft and engineering notebook checks. Professor Williams is really nice and willing to help you out and give advice on your projects.
