EGMT 1510

One of my favorite EGMT classes so far! The topic is studying the use of sound and how it affects our daily lives in ways we don't usually consider. It was very simple and the assignments were really easy to get done. The weekly assignments were either two readings or a reading and a few videos. Prof. Flood also made sure to show that she genuinely cares that you enjoy the class and make the most out of it. Although a lot of the time it was hard to stay engaged (bc most of it is common sense), I would recommend!

10/10 recommend this class hands down! This class is so dope for real. It's called "Sounds of Resistance" so getting to study different types of resistance from the perspective of sound is literally so cool. The professor is so chill and really loves to talk about what she teaches too, so that makes the class that more exciting to do. The homework isn't much at all and the class is very discussion based so vary rarely will you just be lectured at for elongated periods of time which I really appreciated. #tCFfall2021

Professor Flood is amazing! She is very engaging and passionate about the subject matter. I loved Sounds of Resistance's discussion-based format. The workload was very reasonable, and I enjoyed the projects we did throughout the semester. Participate in class and engage with the material and you will succeed.
