This class had about 3 or 4 graded assignments the entire year which made it nearly impossible to get an A in if you messed up on one assignment. She doesn't provide much information on what to do with your assignments and doesn't give you many opportunities to make up for work that wasn't perfect. There wasn't much work to do but that was because there wasn't many assignments. I don't recommend taking this class unless you are particularly passionate about literature or poetry.

Emily is amazing - such a nice professor, and it seems as though she really cares for her students. The topic of the course, irony, was more interesting than I thought it would be. There were 3 assignments in the semester that were nicely spaced out, and you could really write about anything you wanted to - this was new for me, and it was really fun to write about something I was interested in. If you're looking for an EGMT 1510 course, I would take this one. #tCFspring2021
