Professor Hantman is great and makes sure that her students understand the material before moving on. The content was pretty easy.

Dr. Hoffman was the best professor I have had here at UVa. She was fun, engaging and truly wanted her students to do well. She offers office hours all the time and always goes over material well.

My favorite class of the semester. Professor Hoffman wants everyone to do well, and will answer any question. She's 100% dedicated to her students.

Dr. Hoffman is one of my favorite professors at UVA! She is super enthusiastic and really cares about you doing well. The class is fun and most people think the material is not too hard. I was very interested in phonetics to begin with, so that helped!

Professor Hoffman is the greatest! She is so enthusiastic about her work, and is so accessible to students. She is a delight, and makes the course manageable. Take her class!

This class was so much fun, Hoffman is a great professor, will help with anything you need. Don't have to study too much, only half a semester class. Encourage people to take this class.
