This was Professor Sublett's first time teaching a class at UVA and I think she did a great job. The class was a bit long, 2.5 hours each Monday, but the content that we learned I thought was super interesting. We did a ton of really cool trainings about safe spaces for LGBTQ individuals, microaggressions, UnDOC+ allies, etc. The grade was made up of reading responses and a bunch of reflections and papers. The class content was super easy and interesting but the one thing that I didn't like was that the papers we wrote had to be much longer than they needed to be. It was hard to write a 5-6 page reflection on an 8 minute simulation experience and another one on my relationship with my Little. All in all, the class was easy and I have really enjoyed my time as part of YWLP.
