When I took this course it was Catherine's first time teaching on her own (she's a graduate student). Sometimes this led to mistakes in the lecture notes, homeworks, etc. that I think are pretty justifiable considering it was her first time managing a class. That said, Catherine was generally a good lecturer and the grading in her class was more than fair. This class was one of my favorites (especially in the latter half of the semester) because we spend a good amount of time learning about real-world public sector economics. I'd recommend Catherine's class to any of my friends who asked.
