I'm just finishing this class now and I'm really glad I took it. I'd recommend it for anyone interested in policy, or looking for a straightforward econ elective. There isn't a lot of math by any stretch, I never had to use calculus. The concepts are interesting, the lectures pretty much follow the textbook. Prof Kripalani is super helpful - I wasn't able to make it to her normal office hours, so we set up a time for us to meet one-on-one most weeks. The homeworks aren't bad at all - I've been able to get high As on all of them. 5 in the semester. Sasha Ruby is a great TA, helps a lot with the concepts on the homeworks. Prof Kripalani is very open to multiple interpretations of the problems that we'd work on in this class. Overall, very glad I took this course, would recommend, wasn't a difficult workload.
