I really enjoyed the material. Teacher was ok, she tried hard at least

Professor was nice, but kind of boring and really could have been more enthusiastic. Final project was interesting and fun to work on, and the midterms won't too bad.
The material was very dry and not as interesting as it could have been. The professor needs to be more assertive in class. Every lecture was based off powerpoint slides that were too long.
Marianne Corbishley is very nice and always willing to help. Unfortunately she's not a good lecturer at all because she's usually very confused and/or unsure of herself.
I didn't mind this class but I got the sense that I was solidly in the minority on this one. Corbishley knows her stuff but doesn't have a great command of it when lecturing and answering questions in class. Often times her answers would either miss the mark or confuse you even more. Textbook is pretty good - if you're good with graphs and dont mind the reading you should be fine. One paper (easy grading), midterm (was too long for the class period, screwed a lot of people over), problem sets (not bad), and final (tried to be easier than midterm but not really)
Avoid this class if at all possible. Marianne Corbishley is nice and curves generously, but the class was nearly unbearable. The subject matter is incredibly dry (and I LIKE economics), the lecture is poorly organized and not very worthwhile. Take a different econ elective.
All her lectures are read straight off her notes. If you ask a question, chances are she will not be able to answer it. She's really nice but did not make the course interesting at all. She grades HW really easy though and the test questions are all very similar to the HWs and class examples.
Marianne was nice, but the class was not very interesting and hard to follow. It seemed very disjointed
Marianne Corbishley is very nice and always willing to help you understand the material, however make sure you do extra problems in order to do well on exams.
