Coppock is a good teacher and his lectures are relatively enjoyable. He's very approachable. My one piece of advice is study hard for the final! I got perfect scores on both the midterms, but didn't too well on the final. It's definitely very different from the midterms. Don't just assume that if you have a good grade going into the final that you're set for the class.

Great class! Really interesting and the lectures were totally worth it. You should definitely study for the exams and read the book.

Loved Coppock, but you need to have your own views on the economy as well - meaning, u need to understand that his understanding of macro isn't the "standard". Bad TA, she is hard working but sucks at communicating.

Funny and very informative lectures. Good class to take. You'll understand what the hell the Wallstreet Journal is talkng about after taking this class.

Coppack is a fantastic lecturer! His lectures are really interesting and he throws in just enough humor and real life examples to keep you hooked in. Abbey also does a great job as a TA and is very accessible. It's certainly not an easy A class but it's also not the toughest class either. If you work hard, you should do fine.

Interesting lectures, ties economics to current events. Tests are unpredictable. Final is Hard.

Coppock is very one sided and no where near as awesome as Elzinga. He is so conservative and it shows in most of the lectures. He tries to trick you on the teasts even though they are pretty easy.

Decent teacher and an easy class. Gives you the fundamentals on macroeconomics. The class setup is essentially identical to Elzinga's 201 class. Tests aren't bad if you have half a brain.

Easy midterms, never went to class and aced them. Impossible final made my final grade suffer.
