The course provides an excellent introduction to the crucial techniques essential in the field of data science, such as Docker, AWS, MySQL, etc. The class includes weekly labs, quizzes, and concludes with a final project. Professor Neal excels in interacting with students, emphasizing the knowledge necessary for a data science major. He is also very approachable when you need help with your code. The final project was very challenging, but there are many resources available to assist in completing it. Overall, this was a great foundational course for the systems domain of data science.

Great professor. Teaches live coding well, and while he goes very fast, I took notes about the code itself on a separate doc so I was able to keep up. Very understanding about student difficulties too.
