Had the best CS experience of my time at UVA with Prof. Miamiao's image ML class! Not only did I learn so much, but also I was forced to push myself, and enjoyed every second of the content in this course while doing so. You learn a lot from class, but are not really expected to learn everything as long as you gain a brief understanding of the psets/final in class. There is some grind, but there are no tests, and the 3 psets + final are extremely manageable as long as you make some effort to have enough time to grind it on the last two days before its due, or slowly inch yourself to a finalized result. Plus, all the pset questions feel like cool mini-projects (your own image denoising algorithm) while learning the fundamentals of ML! Also, our TA Tonmoy was amazing!
