If you are interested in Data mining, this is the course for you. That being said it is not uncommon to have a major project milestone, a reading write-up, a full fledged assignment, and lecture quiz all in the same week. This course should be at least 4 credits because of the immense amount of time it eats out of your week. The material is somewhat interesting, but the course will run your life for the semester. Side note: Professor Abbasi is a great guy and genuinely cares about students, but the class was far more stressful than I envisioned at the beginning of the semester.
